Author: [NNC]Krieger On 10th Oct 2016 | Hey, FarCry Community!
As many of you have seen yet, the Ubisoft services are currently down since more than 10 Days. Our lovely community member "Deltree", made a phone call to the Ubisoft Support, and they told him that the Ubisoft Services have been shutdown.
The official Shutdown date was at 06 of October 2015. However about reasons we don't know, the Ubisoft Services continued until 27 of September 2016.
The bad news are that the Ubisoft services have been disabled for FarCry 1 right now.
(However the "hope" is still there, but it doesn't look like a simple "Maintance" anymore, so it looks really like it would be the final shutdown of the Ubisoft Services)
Thanks for your attention, and once we got more news we will let the community know!
Since 2014 the LR-Team has developed the LR-Project for FarCry Multiplayer.
The point was on creating a simple FarCry Extension which got a Serverlist apart from the Ubisoft one, similar to the FCMP project, where people can play FarCry in case the Ubisoft services aren't available.
Until September 2016 the Extension received many improvements, and became more than just a extension which contains a Serverlist. The number of adds and improvements increased over the years. Finally it became a kind of Mod/Patch which got Automatic MapDownloader, QuickPanel, UserPanel, few anticheat stuff, etc.
Now the LR-Team is working harder on improving things, to provide a good working Extension which the players can easily install, and use to continue playing FarCry Multiplayer.

It has been made for that.
Don'T be afraid about the next LRv2 Version.
LRv2 Updates it self ingame when starten it. It tells you message everytime it has updated itself successfully.
Don't be afraid that the next version takes longer to start up the game. When you start the game it isn't a blackscreen, just wait... And than the menu pops up. In the next version we increased the AntiCheat, to have clean players on our Servers.
